For FHNN/LFV Members and Volunteers
Limited Space

3:00-4:00 pm
When one looks at a painting, we might be impressed with the technique that it showcases, how it reflects reality, or the emotion that it inspires. Discover how artists intentionally arrange elements within their pieces to create impactful visuals.
With docent Leslie Bethell as our expert guide, examine the work of such renowned artists as Jean-Léon Gérôme, Camille Pissarro, Raphael Sanzio da Urbino, Raimundo de Madrazo y Garreta, and Edgar Degas. This virtual tour will delve into analyzing artworks within the Walters’ collection through the lens of artistic composition techniques, such as balance, gradation, repetition, contrast, harmony, dominance, emphasis, and unity. This is our docent's favorite tour!
This virtual tour is for FHNN and Little Falls Village members and volunteers as part of our collaboration. Register online. FHNN members or volunteers who need help registering can email information.fhnn@gmail.com with Composition in the subject line.
