Impressionism: Finding and Capturing the Light
A Virtual Tour Featuring Art from The Getty Museum
Thursday, July 31, 3:00-4:00 pm EST
For FHNN and Little Falls Village Members and Volunteers only
One of the most popular art movements, Impressionism has captivated us for over a hundred years. But why do we love it so? Is it the colors? The subject matter? Those loose brush strokes? Taking a close look at the small but impressive collection at The Getty, we will explore the artists who made this movement their own including Degas, Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Manet, and Sisley. Our docent is Lee Rubinstein.
This virtual tour is for FHNN and Little Falls Village Members and Volunteers only as part of our collaboration. Members should login to register online. FHNN members or volunteers who need help registering for this virtual tour can email information.fhnn@gmail.com with Getty in the subject line.
